about me
I am a qualified Shiatsu practitioner and certified yoga teacher for children, teenagers and adults.
I studied cultural and social anthropology at the University of Vienna because of my interest in people, other cultures and their values. After graduating, I worked in the fields of development co-operation, environment, art and culture. In 2003, I enjoyed a Shiatsu treatment on a chair for the first time and was immediately fascinated by the profound effect of this treatment method and the holistic view of traditional Chinese medicine on people. Out of interest, I took a taster of Shiatsu training back in 2005. A few years later I decided to turn my hobby into my profession. I completed my education at the European Shiatsu Institute (ESI) in 2017 and since then I have been working enthusiastically as a Shiatsu practitioner.
I completed the yoga teacher training with Fabian Scharsach and Irene Surya Bauer at the Yoga Akademie Austria. I have been teaching gentle hatha yoga, back fitness and health gymnastics since 2020. In the year 2021 I started with the yoga therapy training with Dr Günter Niessen and Katharina Lehman (Momentum Regeneration, Yoga for Health and Regeneration).
